This throwback phenomenon from the ’90s began to infiltrate trend charts when designers like Prada, Dior and Prabal Gurung made it big on the runway. And if celebrity wardrobes and street style stars are anything to go by, it doesn’t look like fashion’s recent obsession with the DIY finish will wane any time soon either.
